Reeder Consulting was created to help individuals, no matter what their financial situations, so they could Proceed with Confidence on their path in life. As a result, in 2015 Reeder Consulting offered two FREE guidance packages to each high school within the Northside Independent School District and North East Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas.  These scholarships were given at the discretion of counselors to 34 high schools, amounting to over $24K in free assessments. In 2016, Reeder Consulting donated over 50 free assessments, equalling over $37K.

 

E.G. (Granny) and Patricia Lofties were pivotal supporters of their community. Granny was known for mentoring kids, being a self-imposed football coach on the sidelines at the high school games, chaperoning high school dances and feeding entire senior classes as a graduation gift at their family-owned restaurant, The Front Porch.  His spirit of giving, laughing and larger than life personality made him unforgettable.  He cared deeply about his community and doing what he could to make a difference in the lives of people who were fortunate to know him.

 

Pat believed firmly in education and received her nursing degree in her 40's, showing you're never too old to find your career.  A devout Catholic with a compassionate spirit, she was instrumental in supporting the higher educational goals of her first college graduate daughter. A dorm mother later in life for an all-boys dorm at Connors State College, she saw firsthand how young adults with challenging backgrounds need great role models. Like Granny, young people gravitated to her and she felt incredible purpose in the relationships she established with each one.

 

The foundation was always established that you give to others, in whatever way you can, and we are honored to name this scholarship in their memory.
